Job Title: Teller

Location: Oakland

Key Duties/Overview

• Provide superior customer service to all our customers with Innovative Bank products and services.
• Perform a variety of paying and receiving functions for deposit and loan customers while striving to retain present customers and develop new business by extending professional and efficient service and suggesting additional services and products to serve customers’ needs.
• Positive attitude and enjoy working with the public and commitment to providing a valuable service.
• Training will be provided.

• Process customer transactions including but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, checks, money orders, travelers’ checks
• Open new accounts including but not limited to checking, savings, certificate, and money market
• Ensure completion of customer transactions in a timely and courteous manner
• Maintain working knowledge of all company products and/or services to provide cross-selling information on Innovative Bank products and services
• ATM balancing and vault teller functions
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding their accounts or company products/services in a professional and courteous manner
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

• Working knowledge of PCs, MS Word, MS Excel
• Must have demonstrated excellent cash handling experience and perform multiple tasks accurately and efficiently
• Should have the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment without sacrificing integrity
• Must have demonstrated desire and ability to thrive in a challenging fast paced work environment
• Must be well organized, team-oriented, motivated and flexible with working hours
• Possession of strong customer service skills in a banking or retail environment is a plus
• Should have excellent oral and written communication skills
• Bilingual in Cantonese
